Rather go to Soundwave. Been wanting to see The Bloodhound Gang since they released One Fierce Beer Coaster. I hear they suck live but still want to see them at least once.

I'm with you Spook, must be getting too old. Last BDO I went to I wanted to punch everyone carrying an Australian flag. When did that fashion start - and who started it? - I'd like to know who to take out my anger on.

Funny, I thought it was the people carrying the flag that were the aggro ones..

(I believe your answer is last year's ban on the flag, courtesy of Ken West - the organiser of BDO)

Haha, reminds me of this time there were anti-Iraq war protesters out the front of the Melbourne Library. It was raining and my mate was running for cover because he was wearing a woolen jumper. I was yelling stupid s*** at him like, "Run, Forrest. Run!".

The anti-Iraq war protesters thought I was yelling at them.

One of them crossed the road and wanted to start me. I was thinking wtf, this guy is supposed to be a peace-loving hippy.

I said to the bloke I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to my mate, and he relaxed - but seriously, what a wacker.

The time tables are out, gold coast one is here:

For me it means i've got to decide between cut copy and the living end, and arctic monkeys and the butterfly effect.

Do they still hold festivals at the Brisbane Showgrounds? I'm pretty sure thats where I was when I went to the Livid Festival in 1999. Was a good show, I think that was the one where Garbage and The Offspring headlined, the Frenzal Rhomb mosh pit was total chaos.

squarky, thats the joy of festivals.. didn't bother me, just a bit of mud is outweighed by awesome music.

Soundwave is at the RNA Showgrounds.

Seeing Nine Inch Nails, New Found Glory, Chiodos, Bloodhound Gang, Hellogoodbye, Anberlin, Silverstein, Goldfinger and Less Than Jake. Should be good.
