Hi all,
Ok, so I just got home this evening and checked my letterbox, (as I usually do every afternoon) and found in it this leaflet on our local home delivery ice cream service. Ya all know "the name that rings a bell"!.. So as I was flicking through thier brochure, and I discovered that you can purchase Ice-cream on-line and have it directly delivered to your door! apparently in an "esky like" box. Quick Fill in on details: Cool Cube Delivery - Available in most areas of Brisbane QLD and Sydney NSW. We're running a 15% discount off the normal price of $49.95 for your first Cool Cube if you buy within a limited time - so now has never been a better time to buy! Welcome to Home Ice Cream's online ordering system. With our breakthrough technology we've created the Cool Cube ® and along with our "deep chill" freezer bricks this is no ordinary drink cooler, but will actually keep your ice cream frozen for 8 hours or more. Linky to site.. Now before you all start, no I am not lazy... I am posting becuase I get home from work late of a monday afternoon, and I dont get the chance to buy Ice-cream off them. I also get milk delivered to my door 2 times a week, and it's great as we have a large family and go through food pretty quickly. Yes.. I could go to the shops but I like the quality of Home Ice cream and the convenience of it at your front door. I think it would be an awesome idea when the hotter months come around, just for the family it would be great, as a treat, and I will only be buying ice-cream from them every fortnight in bulk at least. So Im asking has anyone had any experience with this "cool cube" delivery service? is it any good? am I being ripped off? ttyl! and thanks. |

my father in laws extended family owns home ice cream, you should see the factory. its insane, and thats just a small company.
makes me wish I could tour the coca-cola factory, the machines would be so detailed. its funny to watch the machine put the sticks in the ice cream, if just a single one goes awry: ice cream explosion :) its a very good product (imo), and you can really only buy it in boxes which is more of a reason to indulge hehe. australian made/owned/profits its a good deal too i guess. |
