Lookin at getting simple blu-ray player for my pc..

so far it's either

I've had a good run with Pioneer over the years, I would personally go with them.

mate just buy one. It's not like one of them will wipe your arse for you. I always buy pioneer because they haven't f***ed up on me yet.

why do you want one?

if it is to play movies, why would you want to do that at your PC and not in front of your LCD with surround sound to get the benefit of 1080p?

until PC games start coming out on bluray i can't really see the market for them in PCs picking up.

my pc is hooked up to my tv anyways..dont want to fork out $700 on ps3..this is cheaper alternative..

would eventually put into a htpc anyways

can't pc's do this anyway?? ie surround sound and 1080p resolutions.
