I'm looking at buying a few boston's for a party on the weekend but cant seem to find anywhere that stock them in brisbane. Does anyone have any idea where the fark i can buy some from? Preferably south east side.

You should be able to get them at either Wheels and Barrows or commercial restaurant suppliers like Executive Chef in South Brisbane. If you want more than simple shakers I'd try Executive Chef.

what? that's the rule.

Why?

because the boston glass fits inside the shaker, if you're shaking with the glass pointed towards the back-bar (towards you) and for some reason you haven't tapped it together hard enough and it comes apart, you don't hit customers in the face with glasses full of ice and booze.

And?

because it's a proven fact customers with bleeding facial wounds don't tip as well.
