The show took a little bit to get going. The first episode that really drew me in was an ep somewhere in season 1 that had Gary Busey in it.

to each thier own i rekn. a lot of the tv shows that ppl here rave about i can't get into... but i also like a lot of shows that ppl here like. i diligently watched all of series 1 & 2 of dexter coz i was assured by someone i know that i would like them... but i didn't :( too much hollywood bollux, not enough evil.

i originally thought californication was pretentious twaddle but persisted with it n it eventually gelled with me as pretty funny.

n i watched that new sons of anarchy ep yesterday coz of the thread here that made it sound pretty enticing but was pretty disappointed... i can't watch ron perlman without thinking of his role in 'city of lost children' & a thick'ed french retard doesn't seem that tough as a bikey gang leader :P i'll prolly keep watching though as often these shows don't impress on the first impression but turn out ok.

i always liked entourage though even though it's pretty flimsy... just a bit of fun.

Just watched the episode and drama is hilarious as ever.

There's more characterisation in a throwaway character from Kajishima's Tenchi Muyo! than the entire cast of Entourage. Try showing some appreciation of the craft, baka gaijin.

new ep was awesome, cant believe its been a YEAR! entourage stopped being as kickass as it was in the first couple of seasons, but the formulas down, you just gotta switch off and enjoy.. i just hope they get some good new characters/cameos, and NOT RETURN TO FUKIN BILLY WALSH..

sons of anarchy was also awesome, how can you not back ron pearlman as the head of a bikie gang? hes a badass.. that show is going to deliver, theres just no way with such a good cast...

as is my way i often grab a new series if i see s01e01... usually disappointed but last week i got a show called 'archer'... was ok for a larf! kinda a james bond spoof that goes a little too far ;D

Yep, today's Curb episode was awesome as well. Classic LD.

Loved it how leon stayed in the house at the end of last weeks. f***en classic. Such a great character.

Waiting for offpeak to D/L all todays other shows. Monday is a fairly good day with all the family guys, curb, and californication aint bad either.

meh i was hoping for more of a massive f***-up finish for drama :/ e n turtle's bits were lame n boring. ari was on form n rocked it. :D i thought the matt damon bit was a bit too forced.

Most of the season was a bit lame I thought, not enough awesome ari gold moments, not enough crazy characters or cameos, and just generally boring storylines. Last few episodes were awesome though, if only because they were chock full of classic Ari.

i want that paintball gun ari used.

the season was good because it progressed alot of the side character plots, something that was lacking when it was all woe is vinces career. Means next season they can get on with moving along alot of the story.

Personally i was getting a little tired of it ALL being vince 24/7

Yeah, but the side stories they focused on were all pretty boring and s***. Most of it was just about E, he buys a house, he gets a new job, he gets a girlfriend, he wants sloane, he wants his girlfriend, he wants sloane, etc, etc. As tired as the "Vince can do the movie, now he can't do the movie, now he can do the movie" storylines were getting, I think I'd prefer another one of them to a season all about E and Turtle's love lives.

But yeah, it ended well.

it wasn't much based on turtles love life at all, more was about him progressing to a character other than a pot smoking tubby white boy.

while there was a fair bit on e's love life, most of it was worth watching. and atleast e has the dignity to get mad at some point too.

If anything i'd say the series was more ari focused than either of those two though. and thats not a bad thing.

that last ep was longer than normal. i wish they'd do that for all the eps. this season felt so rushed like they were cramming fifty stories in to 20 minute slots.
