Pandemic and Electronic Arts have released a launch trailer for, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames due on Aussie shelves for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2 on 11/09/2008.

As all good launch trailers do, this video contains a healthy mix of the game's storyline and gameplay elements, packed together with some explosive action.

EA have been pimping this one quite hard and as a result, we have a stack of other trailers from the game in the AusGamers video library.

Recommended viewing are: 3 Mercs for a look at some of the different ways you can go about completing objectives in the game; and this co-op walkthrough - a developer narrative clip of the game's drop-in drop-out cooperative multiplayer component.

I've been playing this one for the last few days. It's like an arcade version of GTA. With mushroom clouds!

Awesome.
