Electronic Arts are continuing their metamorphoses into a company more than worth caring about, this time by announcing they'll be publishing titles from acclaimed development studios Epic Games (Gears of War, Unreal Tournament) and Grasshopper Manufacture (No More Heroes, Killer 7). The Epic Games title is being handled by their own subsidary, People Can Fly, but is as yet unnamed. The same can also be said of the Grasshopper title, however, Resident Evil creator and industry legend, Shinji Mikami, will be helming the product alongside No More Heroes director, Goichi Sudi (aka Suda 51). The Epic property is due to release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, while the Grasshopper title will hit PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. Both companies now join others under the EA banner such as id, Valve and Harmonix. Look out Activision Blizzard. |
