Continuing our more extensive E3 coverage (as opposed to trying to topple the thousands of articles launched from day one) than the rest, AusGamers have a new hands-on feature for one of the big picks of the show, Resident Evil 5. With the recent announcement of online cooperative play and a worldwide release date of March 12 next year, Resident Evil 5 is shaping up to be one of this generation's finest. And with pedigree in the realm of Resident Evil 4, it's no wonder. Be sure to check out our impressions of the game after running it through its paces and feel free to check out all AusGamers available media on our Resident Evil 5 game page. |

Aiming always looks gumby on the trailers for console shooters.

Equally, the demo was only playing in "not inverted", as there was no option to invert (this will change in the final build though). Trust me though, aiming in this is anything but iffy or gumby - this is why you can't always trust trailers... same thing happened for me with Dead Space, the trailers just weren't giving me the information I wanted and I simply wasn't convinced - that is until I saw a proper gameplay demo right in front of me on a huge projector. No editing, no voice overs or pop-up text saying "This Summer", just pure gameplay and it looks awesome. End rant |
