So my little sister uses the spare comp in our house, and like all females, managed to clusterf*** it belong belief to the point where windows wouldn't boot.

Format then installed 64bit vista (because it was the only OS lying around that didn't require activation).

Now I can't get the sound card to work for the life of me :/

I downloaded the drivers from nvidia website but I can't get sound (even though I see the audio driver install).

Went to the Albatron website but the drivers I need can't be downloaded due to maintainence or some s*** (has been going on for like two weeks).


Any ideas?

What chipset is it? NF3?

NF3 and older are not supported in Vista... Good luck getting anything to work in 64bit.
