A study of university students playing a computerised shoot 'em up game has revealed strong stereotyped bias against Muslim-looking people.

Innocent figures in the game were more likely to be shot at if they were wearing turbans or hijabs, the University of New South Wales researchers said.

Dubbed the "turban effect'', the trend was seen in both male and female shooters.

Ha ha! What a great idea for studies in discrimination!

while i think that's true within the context of a computergame, i think they need to translate their findings into real life with real guns irl

Clearly they didn't use any Dell machines.. those black cases would've just gone down to the dole office, got their pay, bought a pack of winnie blues and some VB tallies and just gone to sleep in the park half way through the study.
