Epic big venue. Lame setup really, well nothing more then you'd see at family. It was pretty good ey. We left early for some reason? f***s me i probably got hungry as cant remember.
Pretty sure the lameo one love arenas were dead but I cant remember. Drink and pisser line ups were fkn epic.

They are both just as bad as each other. Only the family trance/electro crowd are even more f***ed up on speed and pills than anywhere in the valley... (with the exception of the MET).

I can't beleive I paid $96 for that! I was initially under the impression that it was going to be a downscale 'Armin Only' event, given that he was performing them in Sydney and Melbourne and would seemingly have those resources available. What we got, was a poor dj set and a performance which consisted of armin and his ego being projected onto a 20ft screen and some lamo guitarist who popped in every now and then to barely play over the current track. What a waste of time!

Seriously, I struggle to accept that he is the #1 dj atm. Perhaps though, that explains his act. Now he doesn't need to put in the hard yards, given that people will pay for a dj set based purely on his name; provided you project that name big enough throughout the set to ensure people this is what they like and paid for. No need to actually monitor and play to a crowd, NOOOO! What he'll do now is play a pre determined set of unbelievably short highs and lows. WTF! Is it just me, or has trance turned to s***? What happened to the musical journey that kept you glued to the dancefloor, begging for that next track towards aural nirvana?

Markus Schulz in Sydney for $40 a couple of months back was incredible.

Much better than any of the regular trance gigs I've been to (including Armin, etc).

So yes, be picky who you see and you'll have a fkn awesome time!

haha wtf are you talking about, there were more phones and cameras djworshipping in the air than glowsticks. However, this was a pretty poor effort but "it's only brisbane", I heard the sydney show was excellent. All in all, it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't anything special either.

I had an awsome night.. such a sweet venue with shufflin friendly floors.. Dont know what the fuss about no aggressive dancing was..

the guy on guitar is eller who is armins brother and collaborated on some of the songs on "imagine" album..

Trance hasn't turned to s***, it has incoporated some of todays beats(electro/house) and mixed them into it, to create a new sound..

Don't know where you got armin having an ego from..out of the top djs in the world he would have to be the most down to earth one..he knows where he came from and he knows he wouldnt be there without us..unlike tiesto and paul van dyk..

Brisbane will never be as big as a trance scene as sydney is..brisbane is more hardcore scene. It's why armin only would never come to bris, wouldnt bring the numbers in..where syd and melb shows brought in close to 8-10k at each event..and that was just for armin, no side djs..

Seriously, if u had been to Syd you'd understand why he's the no. 1 DJ. The Armin Only tour was AMAZING, (Read reviews on In the Mix). I have a feeling there was a bit of 'it's only Brisbane' attitude last night. The Syd show will probably be the best night of ny life for a long time to come. And I'm not the only one, seriously, check out clips of Syd... you'll understand why he has the reputation he has.
