Hey,
I'm in the market for a new wireless mouse and saw the G9. It looks a bit wierd though. Anyone had any experience with these? Worth the $90? Or is it all a big gimmick to cater to the "pro e-sports athlete of the future" kind of bulls***? Thanks |

f***, nevermind. I just realised it's wired.
So... I have $90 to spend on a wireless mouse... Any suggestions? |

G7
Feels good, works well. The only downside is that the batteries drain quicker than the average mouse as far as I know, but luckily it comes with two batteries and a very easy charger so that you can keep swapping batteries without much effort at all. |

If the G7 is anything like the G5 (but wireless), I'd recommend it. I love my G5.. Tried the G9 a couple of times, but it didn't feel anywhere near as comfortable.

Another vote for G7. Awesome mouse for the 9 months that i've been using it.
Although the last week or so it's starting to freeze up for 10 seconds every 5 minutes. Hoping that an update/fresh install of the software will fix it. |

I got the G9 and while it was good for a while the satin coating is peeling/rubbing off. Logitech posted on their forums that they would replace the satin grips for free if the mouse was still under warranty.
Seems that's only for USA residents and Australians can got to hell. Not happy |

I've had the MX Revolution for a year now and it does rock. Comes with recharging docking station. Batteries usually last around week or so between recharges. I just put it back on charge when I'm not at PC so it never runs out.

had a g7, wireless was crappy. use to drop out every 10minutes or so even on fresh batteries. moved to a g5. has all the goodness of a g7 and an extra thumb button without the wireless. |

whatever you do stay the hell away from the ambidextrous ms wireless lazer mouse 5000, the position of the side buttons is so retarded just holding the mouse as you would any other mouse causes you to press the buttons.

I was looking at getting one of these last night, do you have a wireless router by any chance? |
