Can anyone recommend a wireless router with QOS either 100 or 1000mbit
My current one keeps dying and needing rebooting like every night. I'm looking at the $60-120 range. Ive had a look around but any input would be appreciated. |

Are you looking to replace your current QoS-ing router with another due to a hardware fault, or are you attempting to find a non-crashing router by looking into QoS features?

current router does not have QoS but is like 10 years old.
Im also running VoIP now in a shared house of 3 net users, so QoS would be handy. |

I got a 54GL a couple of months ago and it constantly reboots, I think its over heating or something because it does it with stock firmware, tomato and ddwrt so beware and if you're getting a wrt54GL make sure the store has a good return policy.

lol first google result for 7404VGP is wingepoolThe 740x series is very highly rated. Definitely one of the top budget options available IMO. I think that there were some early problems with the 7404 which were resolved with firmware updates quite quickly. I like how the Billion guys interact with the community as well. They're quite active on the Whirlpool forums listening to issues and releasing fixes for them. |

I've got two WRT54GLs and no problems.
Who cares about store warranty after that long. Just send it back to Linksys. |
