Amongst a slaw of new trailers (mostly from the Ubidays 2008 event current underway in Paris), Ubisoft have released a new video for Prince of Persia, the upcoming new-look reboot of the classic series.

The one minute clip is all cinematic though so while it shows off the Prince's new look, it doesn't help satisfy those of us who want to see what those hot screenshots look like in motion.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the new "Prince". He looks like he would be right at home in a japanese beat-em-up. And what's with the final fantasy moves? Should be called Prince of Asia

You must be because all I've seen is a teaser and one good 'screenshot' showing of the prince. Oh and Persia is (was) part of Asia.

you know what I mean... A Persian should look Arabic not japanese. Unless he voyages to China then I guess it would be ok if dressed like the locals to blend in. Show me a picture of a Persian outfit that even comes close to what he is wearing. Don't get me wrong I love Japanese games and Asian cultures... all cool. But this a Prince of Persia game and it should look like it. If there was no title and I saw this footage I wouldn't have a clue what it was.

Seems like you're basing everything on the teaser. The screenshots show him wearing a stylised turban and baggy pants. Thats fairly Persian for me. But I do agree that he appears more Ninja-Gaiden like than Persian.

To really look Arabic he needs one of these things
