World of WarCraft.com has updated revealing new details for the forthcoming WoW expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. Blizzard have added new pages to the official Lich King site showcasing the much anticipated (and first of its kind) Hero Class characters, the Death Knights. As well as revealing information about the Death Knight class, Blizzard also have a mass of information on new gameplay mechanics you can expect from the expansion. From the site: Like The Burning Crusade before it, Wrath of the Lich King will be an expansion in the truest sense of the word. Not happy with just adding a landmass bigger than Outland, new dungeons with fresh loot, and an army of new monsters, the design team is also introducing brand-new gameplay mechanics to make the game world more accessible, more alive, and even more fun. Read on to find out more about some of the many gameplay changes going into World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. You can view the preceding info by clicking here, otherwise check out our World of WarCraft: Wrath of the Lich King game page for more info and screens. |

So Steve, I'm sure you've got the mad contacts at Blizzard, hook a brother up with an invitation to the friends and family alpha test? :P

Hahah. I remember when WoW was in beta you and someone else had access to it because of ausgamers hook.
Oh khel how you've fallen (and broken the ground). |

I remember the night we talked about it, I made raiding sound so fantastic (I was addicted and drunk). But trust me, as someone who has been there, and GTFO, it's a waste of time.
Cmon, there is now a new expansion, GFTO now man.. |

Haha, I remember that night, you were so passionate about it. I didn't even have a 60 at that point, you were telling me about running strat and scholo and stuff and it was all new and wonderful.
Now I'm sleeping in the gutter, sucking cocks for enough cash for another WoW fix and its all YOUR fault! But now my guild has got Archimonde down, and we're almost at Illidan and I am SO CLOSE to getting myself a Tempest of Chaos. You can't just expect me to give all that up! Hahah. I remember when WoW was in beta you and someone else had access to it because of ausgamers hook. Yeah, but this is the alpha, and its for friends and family only, so you need the super awesome contacts to get into it. |

I don't think they will ever get a PvP system that will make everyone happy ...so I just avoid PvP all together as much fun as it is half the reason there are issues with avatars etc is cause of the PvP world and ppl complaining about overpowered Avatars which greatly effects the PvE players. WoW should have a different set of Avatars for PvE and PvP so they don't clash but I know logistcly this is not possible PvE however is a different story ...trick is don't let it consume ur life and the game remains fun ... I have just completed a one year break .... its time for a comeback And I don't even want to start on about roleplayers .... they just scare me lol |

I wouldn't stand a chance as a little priest Given that it's just gone into Alpha and there's been basically nothing mentioned in regards to the priest class, don't get worked up yet :) |

Now I'm sleeping in the gutter, sucking cocks for enough cash for another WoW fix and its all YOUR fault! I don't know why, but I read that as "sucking socks", even after re-reading it. I was thinking "Why the f*** would someone pay to have their socks sucked?" |

She's used to it spookah, I have her trained well.. trick was to get her hooked as well or get married so she focused on wedding plans while I kicked back in MMO land.

back when i was playing wow i thought it would be a good idea to get my ex-gf playing so then she wouldn't get as pissed off when i ignored her to get my fix. it ended up backfiring though, she got hooked and i swear she'd come round just to play wow. i'd be trying to get laid and she'd be telling me to f*** off cause she was running vc or something haha.

Hah.. it's surprising how many chickies out there do play WoW. My wifey doesn't really like to play any other games so I guess it's a testament to Blizz's ability to create a game that appeals to a wide variety of people.

I wouldn't give Blizzard credit for s*** when comes to creating a game that appeals to females. The fact is women like MMO's more so than your usual online game because of the social aspect amougst a few other things, none of which were orginaly created by Blizzard. Hell I know of a stack of woman that played EQ, Linage, DAOC, Shadowbane and hell even the Sims is pretty big when it comes to the numbers of women playing.

trick was to get her hooked as well That's what I did, now I don't have to alt tab to msn to reply or yell down the hall, I just hit R to tell her to cook dinner. |

Here's a question to consider: What properties of games *do* get women to actually play? We all know Everquest and The Sims were more popular titles with females, but what else really is there? WiiSport/WiiFit...
I don't mean titles that females tend to like after being pushed onto them either (eg, LEGO Star Wars I've found has been accepted by females after having shown it to them, in general, but not picked up by them by their own choice) - ones they actively find interesting from marketing or whatever on their own? |
