LOL! America remakes Kath & Kim series

I have no idea how that is going to work.

actors will recite their various lines from a script they've comitted to memory, acting out scenes on various sets while camera men capture it on film for editing and once it's ready it'll be broadcast

i imagine it'll be much like the australian version except their kath and kim will be hot

nah that chick from seinfeld that worked with Elaine and didnt' swing her arms is one of them

i wouldnt call molly shannon overly hot (the chick from seinfeld who didnt swing her arms)

she was also teh bird on snl that fell over a lot

(and wasnt overly funny)

i got bored of this show after 2 episodes. it's like watching the castle on repeat.

molly shannon is about as hot as jane turner (kath) is before she puts on the fat suit and prunes up in the bath

I can't tell if an American version would be more fail or less fail than the original. It'd be pretty hard to make anything more fail.

Reminds me of The Office. The original british version was great, but the US version eventually surpassed it and now is what I think about when someone mentions "The Office"

agreed, the us version of the office is far better than the fairly average brit one. thats despite the brilliance of ricky gervais.

I stopped watchign the US office after seeing only two scenes, so I'm shocked that you people say it's good

But then again it's from the same people who remade Yo Soy Betty La Fea into the US smash hit series Ugly Betty, which is obviously better.

i never thought i would have liked the US office;

american remakes of brittish shows are always terrible

however, after sticking with the office, especially after the first season, its really taken off;

its not trying to be the brittish office either, its different

id recommend going back and watching at least midway through the second series and see what you think

Yeah, latest ep of The Office was great. Sorta felt sorry for Michael and that scene with Dwight and Angela at the end was hilarious.
