I agree with everyone who says that it's common and awesome IF one person doesn't start actually liking the other. I believe that most humans are bisexual. However due to the negative connotations applied to bisexual and homosexual orientations as soon as they start sleeping with just one sex they are labelled straight to bring them back to being acceptable to society.

Being raped isn't something I would take into account when deciding sexual orientation. "Oh, you got raped by a big black guy and you have sex with women, you are obviously bisexual". In my view desire plays more of a part than intercourse. To even consider that it counts shows immaturity in my view.
