It'd be good for games where you create your own models for more unique characters and from the look of it you could even use your own photo to create the 3d image which could give a whole new aspect to things like Myspace.

^ Exactly what I did with the above mentioned tool in Oblivion. It is how many of the celebrity face mods are made.

You'll find it's less about coding and more about the mathematical representation of faces. I did some face-recognition stuff back at uni, was quite mathematically complex. Once we grasped the maths (took several days), coding it was a piece of piss (relatively).
