i was in dubai the other week with a hire car driving on that road down to abu dhabi, serve the idiots who drive over there right.

the drivers over there are complete lunatics, they put all their faith in allah, if theyre in an accident its allahs will. i saw on the whole journey people speeding non stop in heavy traffic, cutting across the 4 or 5 lanes of traffic with no indicators or care, people cut me off, people doing at least 200km/h regularly, slamming on the brakes for the fixed speed camera (which only kicks in at 160km/h) then hooning off again.

after driving to AD then back to dubai, i took the car back to the airport, which is a c*** of a place in itself, gave it back 5 days early.

the taxi drivers will be holding a coversation with their mate, whilst doing 150km/h no seat belt cutting across a highway of full traffic making the exit at the last second then slamming on the brakes to stop before the red light. i'm suprised i didnt die in some of the taxis.

seriously the people over there are the worst drivers ive ever seen. its like brisbane drivers x 2
