Today was officially Barrasundi. Went up to Bli bli Barra park with a large group and fished it to death. Spent a lot of time working lures but barely got a look in. On bait though, I got two, the bigger of them going 73cm. Caught on 6 pound line and leader.

been to the one up here in townsville once.

got s*** all on lures.
was with a relative, who does fly fishing, and he used his fly rod.
hit after hit after hit

he brought in half a dozen.

they just went ape s*** over the fly technique.

Cathing a 4.5Kg fish on line rated to 2.4Kg is about as fun as you can get.

I rarely keep a feed when I'm fishing anyways.
