Pumpkins announced they are doin a side tour and will visit Convention Centre in Brisbane, pre-sales tickets go on sale Midday AEDST (11am here), BUT, I jsut tried that password and it allows you to buy general (floor) and seating now. Beat the rush / high server load.

Going to V anyway, SP and QOTSA sideshows are a bit of a rip in comparison.

got my tickets to the pumpkins first thing monday morning, nabbed Row A so I'm pretty happy.

good stuff. I was more keen on pumpkins, that was only reason heading to V, saw QOTS few years back. Seems ticketek has realised their oops and removed the link, official presales on sale at 12:00pm.

why buy a ticket to see SP when you can goto V festival and see loads of bands with SP playing for almost the same price..

V festival > solo shows with same bands..

I'd imagine SP would have a longer set and a better atmosphere at the convention centre.

But yeah, I want to see queens too so V fest def wins here. Also looking forward to Duran Duran, not a bad I'd pay to see by themselves, but yeah <-- sucker for daggy 80s pop.

I saw them at the o2 in London a few weeks ago - pretty good show. Played a lot of newer stuff, and the last 45 mins were a drag, but the first 2 hours (yes it went that long) were worth it. Not the same as the original line up, which I saw back in 96, but if you are a Pumpkins fan I am sure you will enjoy it.

Great stuff, just gotta sell me V tix now....
