Stuffplug will make MSN open links/email with your default browser.

MSN is aids, Pidgin ftw!

Heh...I was just thinking that MSN always opens links fine in Firefox...then I remember I haven't used MSN for years...+1 to Pidgin (worst name ever).

But pidgin doesn't allow you to have webcam sex with foreigners. or does it??

don't like the name Pidgin? Prefer GAIM or its real expanded name of GNU's Not Unix Image Manipulation Program Tool Kit America OnLine Instant Messenger

I think people on this thread have been answering two completely different questions. Possibly neither of which the OP was asking, since the OP never mentioned clicking on links, launching email clients, or opening browser windows.

Well the OP didn't mention much of anything, so we're making do with what we've got.

All my links open to Firefox, it should depend more on what your default browser is set to... however it would not surprise me if MSN forces IE to open, after all it is pretty f***ing lame.

msn does normally force IE to be used, i have put up with it for years, but since this thread and someone posted that stuffplug i am now a changed man

So obviously you do care a bit because you said you could care less meaning that you do care somewhat.

As for firefox, I've never had it shag over my MSN before, got any strange firefox plugins that munt up hosts files to block ads that might also block MSN addresses?

The term is "couldn't care less," ffs.

Unless you're saying that you do care about your brother-in-law's computer problem.

MSN links open to firefox unless I try to open my e-mail account from msn, it opens with IE.

Yeah, that's what Stuffplug fixes. I've never heard of Firefox stopping MSN from working though.
