Shows how pathetic this sport (or maybe just males) have become when they have to introduce this kind of crap into sports. Not that I'm saying it's a new thing.

Oh yes, because "is my front wheel in front of his B-pillar" is really racing. Absolute farce.

what? are you implying that because the racing is extremely close and theres a bit of barging, that its not racing?

a series where maybe 3 or 4 people can win a race (or 1 or 2 a couple of years back) is about the most boring s*** on earth. i'm talking about f1. boring as s***.

No, I'm not arguing that at all - that's all part of racing.

It's this bulls*** with the rules that as soon as someone has a front wheel past a B-pillar, they're considered to have passed you and you have to yield way. That's bulls*** - you haven't passed them until you're clear of them. If they want to make an attempt to re-take that spot at the next corner, then that's racing - but the way CAMS/AVESCO have the rules, they'd get penalized for that - especially if there's any contact. Not only is it bulls***, it's boring.

But AVESCO has always been run by tards, so it's nothing new.

so you're saying that making it easier to pass, makes it more boring?

that must be why a1, champ cars and f1 are now trying to make it easier for cars to pass with reduced turbulence or limited overboost.

That's not making it easier to pass, that's letting people past. Seeing people duke it out through a series of five corners to eventually get past is way more exciting than them having to move over after the first corner and not be allowed to fight back.

A1 has s***loads of passing, more than you'll see in most other categories. ChampCar has had heaps more ever since introducing the Panoz as well; F1 has seen a bit more when they reduced the allowable size of the diffuser, and will likely see more when mistakes get made this year without TC.

Its to stop people trying to close the door when they've lost it, if you're up to someones B pillar on their inside you've clearly taken them. Its just putting what should be commonsense into a rule. Its pretty much to stop your marcus ambrose style moves, and makes the race official rulings much less ambiguous is an acco happens. Its what the drivers and teams wanted anyway, because the series is owned by the teams after all.

Not at all. Going on that you could scream into a corner, get past their B-pillar on the outside, but be completely off-line for the next corner(s) and be awarded the right to stay in front.

If you think the rules are written as drivers and teams want, you're getting some serious misinformation.
