Unfortunately, I've been given a blackberry 8100 for work and I am hoping to use it as a navigator (with voice prompts). I'm wondering if anyone can recommend some software for this? (yes i know i need a bluetooth gps thing).

hey crunch
the 8100 would be a little lame for a gps unit my work gave me the 8800 with built in gps - the inbuilt maps program is s***house so i use google maps for it - works pretty well but no turn by turn instructions - more like whereis than navman if you get what im saying |

i have google maps on my 8100 - surely you don't need the prompts?

The main feature of a nav system imho is not having to look at it. Anyway, doesn't actually seem to be anything available for australia in that area :(
Seems to me the BB is way behind the nokia in that area. |
