Sell me on the 360's media center tech and why it's better than the PS3 equivalent. Use as much detail as you need to. I've got four different uPNP servers running on different systems here to test them out and so far the PS3 media browsing is top notch.

sorry, i can't. if you want a media center get a ps3, it does blu-ray thing too. if you want to play games however, get a 360. 360 has the best selection of 'hardcore' games and the xbox live service is unparalleled(sp?).

If you aren't looking to play blu ray dvds though and want to browse for divx/xvid files 360 does it just fine. I'm pretty sure as long as its shared on the network the 360 can play it. also can plug and play straight from ipod/usb drives no problemo.

360 is better than Ps3, because it isn't a Ps3!

OH man I gotta find where my xbox receipt went. Which sucks cause its the same receipt that has my ipod stuff on it.

hot damn. There was an xbox 360 second hand going for 380 on ocau but there's already two backup instants. I figured if the PS3 is good for media and the 360 is good for games then I really should get both. To be fair to the consoles you see..
