Looking to deck out the Children's playroom with some fun and funky furniture - things that are suitable for video gaming and craft tables, and a range of sizes/heights for kids from 2 - 16ish. Anyone know any cool stores around Brizzy? A few places in the valley look good.

yer, theres a place in west end that is all funky furniture (expensiveish though)

heaps of 60's designed stuff and other just interesting chairs/sofas/tables/knicknacks

definitely ikea. they have a lot of funky stuff, all sorts of colours and cool designs

Yeah, there's a place on Wickham St in the Valley, but my wallet hurts just looking at the building. I have nothing to base this on, I just get the feeling that it'd be f***ing expensive when I look at the place.

umm space at james st is awesome super funky, very f***ing expensive though. I'd also try the retro furniture place in west end.
