I didn't realise till today, but Ricky Gervais did an Extras Christmas special which came out like a week ago. Its 90 minutes long and looks like it was done jointly with HBO and its pretty damn funny.

I watched it this morning and f*** me it was funny. The Clive Owen part was great because earlier on in the show one of the actors was saying how great he is and how he's really down to earth.

Yeah, when Hale and Pace showed up I was thinking, I know those c***s from somewhere. I couldn't think of their names until they were said and then I remember watching them on tv back in the 80's. Also pissed myself when Gordon Ramsay showed up. That guy rocks extremely hard.

Omg, Hale and Pace were awesome, I'd totally forgotten about those champs.

watched teh first 20mins then decided ill wait till x-mas day to watch teh rest, from what ive seen its bow down.

I have heaps of Hale and Pace on VHS, I recorded like every episode that showed here.. when I find time... youtube baby...

I kinda agree with what NF said .. I loved Extras but this was a little disappointing.

I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it but I'll just say it's not what I expected, at least the last 30 odd minutes or so.

I thought it capped off the show (Extras is now finished altogether) in a poignant way, in that it was actually a comment on tv/society rather than a fall down funny "sitcom".

Brave work Mr Gervais.
