I spotted this around the traps today:

Splash Damage has a bit of a Christmas present planned for loyal players of Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars, with the latest patch planned for release just in time for your holiday fragfests.

For those wondering what happened to the 1.3 patch, the Enemy Territory development blog" explains that the number skip is due to a smaller update that was previously released for the Korean version of the game.

Here's a bit of a sample of what's in the new patch:

- ETQW:TV will allow hundreds of players to spectate in tournaments without impacting the competitors' play experience

- Second hacks can be done to deployables, causing physical damage that will require an Engineer to repair

- Adjustments to Icaus, Stroybombs, Rocket launcher and AP Turrent lock-on
- MCP no longer takes damage while being repaired to movable state
- MCP driver will no longer die when it does take damage in this state, but will not be able to use the gun
- MCP will auto deploy when in green zone
