I'm just working on some uni biz and we had a black out... NOW I'm backing up my stuff but it gets annoying having to constantly click "save as" and then finding the different drive or whatever. Is there any way to save to 2 places with one click? Like saving to HDD and USB simultaneously? If not, it's a great idea for one of you nerds to make a little program and sell it for millions and millions... just remember who thought of it:O |

Er, you know if you save, it stores it? There's no real reason to back up every time you fkn douchebag unfortunately your parents decided to save your embryo. have a sync folder - make ur doc auto save and make ur folder auto sync This. It also depends on where the second file is and how many files you're trying to back up. If there's just the one you could make a batchfile in the same directory you save the original in and just drag/drop the file onto it to automagically copy it to a network share. |

Check out a product called Jungledisk and Amazon S3.. it's an offline file storage system made by Amazon. With Jungledisk it creates a local disk which is your remote storage.
Everytime you save something to it, some magic happens and it is then stored on the remote site. Remote site is accessible anywhere at anytime. |

I just use a program called Karen's Replicator and set it to back-up to USB thumb driver every 20 mins.
Never had a problem |
