So who hear saw the guy get almost beaten to death in the Queen St mall Saturday afternoon around 3 o'clock?

Missed it myself by about a minute, and only had my attention brought to it, when a guy I knew said: 'Hey, I think he might be dead'...

Frightening stuff, only looked in time to see the crying girlfriend and the cops arrive and tackle some shirtless noob in some sort of fighting pants? (ware the fighting pants!) Not sure what happened to the other 2 who apparently jumped in to have a go at him as well.

Bouncing peoples head off those stone benches then holding their neck there and punching them in the head full force is not cool.

Anyway chub may know where it's at with the knife and all ;) surprised it wasn't in the paper. Much blood, many cops.

lame

there is too much of this s*** happening lately, what the s*** is going on with society. Like this retarded s***: "The man said "I love your car" before he was attacked by up to six people, with at least one brandishing a metal bar." I was hoping to see the followup to story but haven't seen one yet.

Well really, he left us with no choice.

Bashings are not cool, there's a lot of nutters out there in public.

Nothing you can really do in the heat of the moment... just don't say stuff to strangers because you never know what's wrong with them.

Once you heal up, head back out and teach them a lesson.

You'd think after 3000 posts and several stabbings CHUB would have learned how to quote by now.

Considering this is the only forum I visit that uses < quote>, and probably 7 or 8 others use [quote].

Definetely, in that situation the people would get in massive trouble.

In a situation where they wouldn't but you still want to teach them a lesson, then go bash them.

i saw someone the other day with a 'no capital punishment for australia' sticker on their car.

i thought it was quite ridiculous, since im pretty sure its not going to be brought in any time soon.

maybe they should have had a 'No MFP' bumper sticker aswell

also i think bashings are generally stupid, but the guy might have had a good reason.

for example sunday morning, a cabby tried to get some from a friend of mine. she was scared silly and was thankfully able to get out of the situation unmolested and unhurt. i would love to have been there when she was getting out of the cab to smash that dirty mother f***ing cabby into next week

The world is full or morons. Some need to be taken out the bush and put down like rabid dogs, others just need a little direction. Either way, that is our lot in life.....and my only motto in life is:

"Don't bring a knife to a gun fight"

The driver of the Hummer is described as being aged in his 30s, of Caucasian appearance, and was wearing dark jeans, a black T-shirt and had a tattoo of a cross on his right forearm. ...The silver Hummer had the word "Hummer" written down the side of it in dark writing, police said.

Way to remain inconspicious.

there's actually quite a few studies which find that the death penalty reduces premeditated murder in the US.
