never bothered using it cause it didnt work when i first tried it.
the headphones plug at the front of my comp.

i use speakers rarely and h/phones most of the time. i swap the plugs at the back but its a pain in the arse. ive got a kill swith on the speakers. i want to use the h/phones on the plug at the front. and turn the speakers on when i want them on.

how do i get it to work?

hoping the question can be answered without going into specs and what case etc etc. cause im s*** at that and have no time for knowing.

connect the front plug to the front panel connector on your sound card

Extension cable for your headfones?

Speakers with headphone jack on them ftw.
