ok, heres the plans that i know of, power up unlimited is limited to 500 meg, hunter keeps bosting that he can go over that, when we tried it for the first month it was on, we couldn't, so we moved out buisness elsewhere. optusnet, doesn't have an unlimited time plan, the pings to games were preety decent, the d/l speed was the best on dial up i have ever seen, more d/ls over 5k then not. and u have unlimited downloads, and unlimited session times. but if u go over ur aloted time, u get stung, and f***ing bad. we were about 50 hours over once, the bill went for 50$ to about 250$ iprimus, it's what i'm currentley useing, the pings are preety good, but it's still dial up. web pages seem to be slower then optusnet, aboutt he same as powerup. but it does have unlimited time, and unlimited downloads, but u are limited to 4 hour sessions, which is a pain in the ass. imo, i'd go the iprimus one, unlimited everythingis just so much better |

there is actually some truth in that, afaik optus cable (with choices 4 or whatever) comes with a phone line which is hosted across the cable, there fore being copper all the way to the exchange or what not, would most likely contain the same quality as a didgial line giving improved signal strength, thus resulting in optimum conditions for dialup to operate in. or i could be full of s***, one of the 2 |
