Mine updated itself yesterday. For some reason sometimes it will auto update and other times I have to go out of my way and waste precious time doing it myself.

One of my machines updated automatically, another one, on which firefox crashes often for some reason, isn't auto updating. I'm hoping some of the fixes actually fix the crashes I'm experiencing on that box.

Anyone know if the option to close the active tab from the far right menu has been reintroduced? They changed it after version 1.5.0.12

type in about:config in url bar. Then change browser.tabs.closeButtons to 3. I do this everytime, within 3 seconds of launching a fresh install of Firefox. Not sure what the point of changing the default setting was. You have tabs to save a bit of taskbar real-estate, and then they go in and duplicate close-buttons that now use up your tab real-estate. |
