A few threads this week have been discussing 'Gamer' topics in the media.

Last Sunday's 60mins report was the usual low-brow, wishy-washy expose on the subject.

However I just saw an ad on the ABC regarding a 2-part documentary starting Thursday Night that seems to be tackling more topical 'gamer' issues, such as addiction and links to violence.

Just because it's been happening doesn't mean it's points of interest are mainstream and common knowledge, which is what this doco will hopefully shed some light on.
