Sounds like a Need For Speed game or something.

did you even watch the vid? the game looks damn awsome imo. i always wanted to use the force like this in the jedi knight games.

this looks rad!, however all the game footage was actual tech demo stuff and not in-game, so we will have to see if they can pull that off in-game

I think it was pre-rendered by the looks of it too, so its not really THAT impressive, just a cool concept at that stage really. Though it IS a very cool concept, hopefully the gameplay is just as good.

The gameplay is really cool. We're making the PS2/PSP versions at Krome, and even though they're crappy, old systems, the gameplay is still pretty much what is in that video. I haven't played the PS3 or Xbox360 versions, but I assume they'll be as fun, if not more fun than the PS2 version. The force moves really are crazy and huge, and it's heaps of fun.

From the way they talked about it in that video, those were pre-vis animations, rather than gameplay. I dont see why it wouldnt be possible to do the same things with todays technology, especially the hammy physics engine that lucas seems to be all over.

Still, takes skill to make it work and I cant remember the last truly good 'action' game based on the star wars franchise.

Republic Commando was an awesome Star Wars action game. Pretty recent too. I don't think it got as much appreciation as it deserved.

I never understood why commando didn't get much hype, it was an awesome game.

Yeah, republic commando kicked ass, only problem was it ended way too abruptly.
