Just on the topic of kids in dangerous places, I used to ride a lot of BMX at the local skatepark and it was mind boggling the number of improperly supervised kids (im talking < 10) that were left to roll around on their razor scooters.

Being that young they just roll around as they please and don't have the sense to look out for the bigger guys flying around in the air. I missed a kid once by about 10cm 360ing out of a bowl... I doubt they would've come out too well the other end. Once you are in the air theres not much you can do to stop.

But for it to be in sync that long is kinda odd.

It looks like the blades are in perfect sync with the camera's framerate.
Still that's impossible as the blades would spin faster and slower with wind forces and the pilot climbing/descending.

there's a treadmill under it, the camera is always aimed too high for it to be seen

fairly sure they don't change engine rpm to climb/descent, it'd be done with blade pitch control i bet. you are probably just hearing doppler when the engine sound changes.
