Does anyone know if its possible to edit two slides at a time in powerpoint? we're using 2003.

In the edit view, your normal view is just the one slide, but I've been asked if you can view more than one at a time, and so far, i've not been able to find any information on it.

Thanks,
system

Hm, that question kinda got me thinking. After having a fiddle around in PP I see what you mean, if there is a way to do it they sure are hiding it well. These seems like an extremely severe shortcomming in the program.

At any rate, GL with your quest.

Edit: I assume you mean EDIT more than one at a time? You can view s***loads at once, but not edit them.

Are we talking text on the slide or the background?

Sort of. In PP2000 you can do:

Windows -> New Window

Then go

Windows -> Arrange All

You'll get similar to the following:

Then you can edit "2" slides side by side. Naturally if you have 2 x monitors & Ultramon this be slightly better...

I'm fairly sure they're wanting to edit two slides from the same slideshow...?
