A Brisbane businessman has been kidnapped and tortured by people allegedly posing as federal police officers during a four-hour ordeal on Brisbane's southside.

This guy was snatched from a golf course and taken in a white van to a house in Annerley where he was tortured and threatened

Police officers went to a house in Chester Road in Annerley on Saturday afternoon and found two rooms which had been sound-proofed.

In one of the rooms, police found what they described as "an interrogation chair" bolted to the floor.

That is some serious forward planning :o

The fact that nobody else has come forward would tend to indicate that this was the first that they have attempted this crime at this level, so you can only chuckle at the f***wits. They spent all that time obviously planning what they must have thought would be a great crime, without taking into consideration that the only way they could get away with it was to kill their victim. Then they let the man escape and they get caught hanging around the neighbourhood in a van. One can only imagine what movie inspired their drug-f***ed minds to put something like this comedy together.

the guy who got kidnapped was running a ponzi scheme (offer high returns over short time periods, u pay back investors with other investors money, repeat until you leave the country or get arrested or kidnapped, lolz)

its being reported now it was way more than $500000 lost, possibly millions
