Hi guys,

My girlfriend and I currently work in the same team (go nepotism!), but we're both looking for new jobs. Essentially, the working conditions have plummeted dramatically from when we started.

Now, we've both got reasonably high-quality CVs and we've done the standard things such as Seek, register interest with various recruiters around the place, daily checking of the jobs.qld.gov site etc, but I figured it couldn't hurt to drop a note in here to see if anyone knew of anything going where they work and would be willing to help out a fellow geek/gamer (or two).

I'm more than happy to shoot through a copy of my CV if anyone wants to have a look at it, but essentially I'm a network admin with my primary focus on Windows Servers, but also with a (small but growing) body of knowledge for debian based Linux distros.

My girlfriend's main focus is desktop support/tech support/customer service call centre work, but is able to pick up new skills and knowledge faster than anyone else I know (including myself :(). Again, her CV is available on request.

If you know of anything that could be of interest, please feel free to shoot me a PM and I'll drop you my contact details etc.

Thanks guys.

Cheers,
Ges.

You could wander next door and hand in both your resumes.

Payroll Solutions might need more support people, not sure, but no harm in asking or dropping in resume. You'd want to get resume to Genia, she is head of support.

Q2 Solutions needs a new developer/programmer and someone with network admin skills would be awesome to. If you have any development/programming experience, maybe drop in resume at reception and ask for it to be passed onto Zane.

Anyways, just a thought seeing you are just next door.

Might have trouble finding someone at reception at 5pm on a Friday (or any day).

I catch the train with receptionist and we leave right on 5.
