This is a good example of the old saying that "Kids are only a reflection of their parents". Two f#cked up humans with weird beliefs, who were then allowed to procreate and push those beliefs on their kids.

You can probably trace most weird religions back to two f#cked up individuals who procreated, educated, and then infested. Then other f#cked up individuals joined them. The small ones we call Cults, the large ones we call religions. Before you know it the smaller cults are committing suicide or something stupid like that, or the larger ones f#uck up the heads of their followers to the point where they will go to war on beliefs alone, or strap a bomb to themselves.
