I'm gonna be selling my car to a friend of mine privately and i have the safety cert and all that done but it states that i need to hand over a certificate of registration.. Now is that the paper which was attached to the rego label or?

When you complete your registration they should send you out a piece of paper as well as the rego sticker. That's the certificate you're after.
If you don't have it, just go to a Queensland Transport Customer Centre and they will issue you a temporary certificate free of charge. I went through this drama in December when I sold my car. |
