found a juvenille stray cat at my place tonite. Brisbane NW area.
Has no collar, very thin, and has it's balls so I think it's safe to say it's feral/dumped stray cat. If anyone wants it just pm me otherwise I'm taking it to the pound(gallows) tommorrow. It is timid and friendly and let me pick it up without scratching me so it could make a nice pet once desexed. I'm guessing it's a smokey grey, domestic tabby cat. * I would take a pic of it but hes locked in the laundry. |

Adopt it urself! Anybody got any statistics on how many animals that wind up at the pound/RSPCA get killed? I hear they get like 7 or 9 weeks (total) to get adopted or they're off to puppy/kitten heaven.
DO you really want that on your conscience? Plus, how wet would women get for you for rescuing a poor defenseless animal? Having a sponsor child in Indonesia (or wherever the f*** he is) still gets me milage with teh ladies! |

tuff..
Cats are a big problem all over the world. I already have a cat and it IS desexed. I dont feel bad if the kitten gets put down humanely at the pound. I would feel bad however if I left it to roam around to kill wildlife and breed. last edited by sLaps_Forehead at 04:04:01 21/Mar/07 |

Yeah, he'd make good crab bait. Crab pots are one of the most common methods for catching crabs.
Basically, you get a crab pot, a float, a long piece of rope/string and some bait, usually mullet, but in this case, cat. lol. The crab climbs in, nibbles on the bait, and can't crawl out again, because of the shape of the entry. http://www.northernangler.com.au/eb/Pro Crab Pot.gif |

The sad news on the kitty is that he is on death row at the Fairfield RSPCA. So if you want to save him he's there, sadly with about 20-30 cats waiting for the needle.
http://www.rspcaqld.org.au/ The RSPCA will chop his balls off (desex) and vaccinate him for free if you want to adopt him. But there is a short waiting period b4 you can adopt that particular cat(ID #290416). Otherwise there is plenty of other moggies to chose from. Who the f*** would buy a cat from a pet store nowerdays??? - Moral of the story is desex your cat. |

I got my dog from the Fairfield RSPCA, best $100 my family ever spent. More people should get pets from the RSPCA.

UPDATE:
Ok the latest on the cat is that he has had his nuts chopped off, arsehole polished, washed, blowdried and vaccinated and is up for adoption at the Fairfield shelter. Here he is here: http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/5936/34663gh3.jpg His name is now 'Alpha' and if you click this link you can get all the info: http://www.adoptapet.com.au/animal/animalDetails.asp?animalid=34663&result=33 He is a very friendly cat but the little c*** pissed on my couch and Ive had to soak all the cushions and covers for days. I think he got me back for locking him in the laundry all night. Anyway you have about a fortnight to save him kitty euthanasia. last edited by sLaps_Forehead at 01:29:38 28/Mar/07 |

ive owned three cats, all of which were strays (they just rock up and decide they like it here, so never leave) i had to get one of my cats euthanased this afternoon. buried her under a tree in the backyard at sunset. she was about 14 =( http://members.iinet.net.au/~freewheelin/pics/sheclose.JPG http://members.iinet.net.au/~freewheelin/pics/shexmas.JPG |

I actually ran over a cat this morning on the way to Cannon Hill train station. If anyone wants to make some leg warmers there is a white and red cat on the road. It had no collar so I couldn't do a thing about it.

Also - my sister in law is thinking of buying a cat so I will send her the link. Oh the sexual innuendo about wanting to go see her pussy is HILARIOUS! |

Theres a f*** load more cats on that website compared with dogs. We are looking for a dog but it can't be a dog that needs lots of backyard.
