Was 24 most of the weekend with a few hours of 23 degrees when I felt 24 was too hot.

Over the last ten years the weather in Brisbane has change radically, and for the worst. When I was growing up, almost every day during the middle of summer you’d get summer storms at about 4pm. You could almost set your clock by them.

Winters also used to be more brisk. It wasn’t uncommon to get negatives on winter mornings; frosty windshields all round.

Overall, this summer has been pretty mild. December was fantastic and both January and February were mostly ok.

Yes actually I did know that. I remember 2005 being an extremely dry year in the south of England. But at least the heat wasn't so extreme.
