My gf is taking off overseas for a bit, and I was thinking of getting some Skype video-chat going on.

Sized up some Webcams at WoW Sight and sound, mostly the Microsoft range. All I really want is a built in mic, half-decent quality and easy to use. They had an alright one there for $79, which isnt too bad. I wouldnt want to pay much more cos i'll be buying two.

Anyway, anyone know any brands/features to avoid? Experience with the same product? Videos of you getting your cock out etc?

Buy a mac so the webcam is built in!

my friends sister is an msn cam whore, her camera is pretty decent & has lights built in for night time whoring. I can't imagine her paying too much for it I can snoop through her stuff on the weekend & grab the brand if you haven't bought one by then.

I got like the $70 Logitech QuickCam and its pretty decent. I often battle their retarded website trying to find drivers though; they're all up there but they just have a dumb system for finding them. Or I'm dumb and can't use the Internet, also possible.

Quality is good though, nice and simple.

Windows doesn't have built in drivers for it? My quick cam works with windows' built in things in MSN/windows media encoder.

it's a tripod that allows for easier angling the camera to where you want it pointing :)

it does however look like something out of a sci-fi movie, that's just about to f*** you up with giant frickin lasers. :P

picked up one of these babys, which seems to work alright. Shes off on the plane now so there isnt anything I can do about it now.

Im gonna get a different one for myself, as the cable on that one is too short cos its made for laptops
