The concert last night was awesome (don't forget John Petrucci + Mike Portnoy from Dream Theatre Hermi). Platinum tix for the win.
Vai absolutely shat over everyone else (as expected) & played material from the new album ('Freak Show Excess' & 'Building the Church') + some old favourites (finishing with 'For The Love of God' - my fav Vai song). The music started at 7:45 and finished at 11:30 - I got my $$$'s worth (plus the vai tour shirt & the G3 poster signed by all 3 of them). :) |
