I'm actually running a 300 player LAN at the Melbourne autosalon with a few other guys, should be good. The SGL guys are running one at the Sydney autosalon as well.

I went last night, its the first time ive been so its all new too me - got to see some supra on the dyno i think the numberplate was 'Dragga'. It clocked 929hp/689kw...appaz it was a new record or something. pretty impressive.

How do you do horsepower "at" kilowatts.

They both measure the exact same s***, they're just like Kilometers and Miles.

And record for what? For that particular car probably. But 930hp certainly aint any guiness book of anything.

Autosalon is crap and targetted at 14 y.o. nubs who think riced up excels are cool.
I went once many years ago, and while I wouldn't mind checking out done up 180's, Supra's etc.
The fact that there is like 20 cars there that you can go-over each one of them with a fine tooth comb and walk out the exit 30 minutes later is balls.
Last motor show I went to was RNA showgrounds I think, and it took up the entire place, inside buildings, outside, everywhere. Took an entire day to see maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of it.
Had cars from crank-start right up to current lambo's porches etc.

That is a real car show, autosalon is for people who dunno what a steering wheel is.
