IRVINE, Calif. -- Blizzard Entertainment® today announced that the release date for World of Warcraft®: The Burning Crusade™, the highly anticipated expansion for World of Warcraft, will be in January 2007. By adding a few extra weeks to the development cycle beyond its original target date, Blizzard will be able to extend the closed beta test and further refine the new content that will ship with the game.source On the upside, they've announced a final content patch prior to the Expansion Release which will contain updates to the Honor system, plus new talents/skills. promoted forum item |

Good news I reckon. Better than what EA do and ship an unfinished buggy game.

It sucks, but I can't talk - am in the beta test, so get to play it now :)
Also means that those of us who play WoW & planned to get a Wii can do so & have lots of time to enjoy the new console :D |

This is kinda good for me. I was expecting a November 23 launch, so this now means that I have at least a good clear month to dedicate my attention to the Wii (as far as games go) rather than having to split it between the Wii and WoWBC.

Hopefully this will increase the value of my account :)
If anyone wants to buy a 60 undead rogue on Frostmourne with tier1/2 gear, PM me. Still in a high end raiding guild with casual status - i.e. - so I can raid when I feel like it. |

I still don't see the problem people have with paying a monthly subscription for this game, I feel like I'm saving money in the long run. Before WoW came out, I'd buy anywhere from 5-10 pc games a year, which quickly add up (anywhere from $500 - $1000 maybe). Since WoW's release, I've tried other games (thanks to my local video store) but have always returned to WoW. The subscription fee is a small price to pay for a game that is constantly updated with new content, and for those that object to the expansion, many other games in the past have done it, and where can most of those games be found these days? In the bargin bin down at Harvey Norman!

I think it's more the pile of charred remains on the ground of your shattered foes after waving that little wand around that draws people.
That and the: target corpse /spit |

I think it's more the pile of charred remains on the ground of your shattered foes after waving that little wand around that draws people. That's what they want you to think. In reality WoW players purely like to dress as chicks and wave wands like homosexuals. http://homepage.powerup.com.au/~boldajis/images/wow_gay.jpg last edited by parabol at 13:06:01 28/Oct/06 |
