Don't get me wrong, I know there's no room for complaing in a situation where you haven't 'earnt' anything, but simply, 'you might get something for free'. But hey, I wanna win stuff. The higher my chances of winning the better. Eat one. :D

Compared to a normal entry - random winner type comp, with a 25 word comp it's like it's more personal when your entry isn't the winner. It's more like 'You lose' rather than 'You didn't win'. I'd way prefer a winner chosen at random. Requires no effort at all.

It's not 'an element of skill'. It's gay. How decent can entries really be with just 25 words anyway? 25 words is just f*** all. 'Most creative' entries win... righto. Trying to be 'funny' in 25 words is pretty tough when you're busy rearranging sentence structure and sacrificing proper grammar to fit inside the word limit.

Are there even winners to these things? It's all a massive scam. Where do toads go during the day? I'd love to meet someone that has actually won a competition based on their 'most creative entry'. I've had two mates who have won these. One friend won a few, and another won one. One of the comps was for a signed shirt by Something For Kate, and I can't remember the others... I think it was free DVD's for 6 months or something...
