Mr Wolf sends word that the GameServe June Lan registrations have opened up. For those who don't know, the gameserve monthly lans are held in Helensvale (northern Gold Coast) and are host to a whole bunch of game comps. There are 80 spots available, and we dont have the capacity for many more, so be sure to register if you want to come.

There is also a poll up on the website to help select which games will be played at the event. Based on the last lan, the main games will probably be CoD2, Farcry and CS:S, as well as GRAW/BF2 Side v Side and War3 DotA action. Dont worry if your game of choice isn't listed, there are plenty of game servers so if you want to play it, chances are we'll give it a bash.

I'd better mention that GS now has a total ban on leeching (we know that there was talk of GameServe actually being FileServe in the past :p) but we're now 100% focused on gaming and leechers won't be tollerated.

The games poll so far is leaning towards the following;
- CoD2 5v5 SnD
- CoD2 16v16 SnD Slaw
- BF2 left side (of the lan) vs right side
- FarCry 5v5 Assault
- GRAW 16v16 Domination
- War3: DotA

And for the RPGers we're gonna have a NWN server running all day for you to jump in and out of as you desire.

Also, Ubisoft are winging us some copies of GRAW and a whole stack of posters so we're having a GRAW theme inside the venue and we'll be rewarding attendees that come dressed as "Ghosts" (and not the white kind that say 'boo') with copies of the game!

And there's an Antec case as well as IceMats/Xray Aqua3 mousemats that will be given away as well.
