I just had a look around for II - it's not in abandonware status yet as it's still easily attainable in the US, but I came up blank as for how to obtain it here.

I thought abandon warez would have it by now?, they deal with all the old classic games all the way back to dos and aplle ii e. I downloaded Armor Ally / Rescue Raiders a while back and never thought I would ever get my hands on it.

Descent and Descent 2 are both open source, and the trademarks were cancelled. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descent_II |

Descent and Descent 2 are both open source, and the trademarks were cancelled.and yet they refuse to host it. HOTU is the first place I checked. Can you provide a link to a compiled version? |

we played Descent pretty much all of our year 11 and 12 PCM classes because we'd finished the planned work in the first month

oh wow... Gateway (in the city) used to run Decent II on demo 24/7 on their uber-demo machine back when SLI_Voodoo 2's first came to town.
did the game ever support MP? I can't remember :/ |
